Why We Exist

At the Ark Church, we fulfill our mission by helping people build intimacy with God, igniting faith, and empowering futures.

The Ark Church is a vibrant community where we emphasize the importance of seeking God’s kingdom above all else, in accordance with Matthew 6:33, which says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Our core values revolve around love, peace, and purposeful living, and as a unified body, we are dedicated to spreading the boundless love of God in every space and opportunity that we encounter. We strive to embody these principles in all that we do, both within and outside the church community

Intimacy with God

Our goal is to make heaven. To achieve this, we are committed to helping people truly know God and develop a deeper, closer relationship with Him—not merely for what He can do, but to reach a place where they fully understand and embrace who He is. Our services are thoughtfully designed to support people at all stages of their walk with God, fostering growth in their relationship with Him.

Igniting Faith

Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Our faith grows and is strengthened through community and fellowship with one another. This is why we have dedicated groups that exist to help us build and encourage each other in our walk with God. These groups provide a supportive environment where we can share experiences, study the Word, pray together, and inspire one another to live out our faith boldly. Together, we ignite and sustain the faith needed to please God and fulfill His purpose in our lives.

Empowering Futures

God created each of us to live a purpose-driven life, one that reflects His will and fulfills His divine plan. True purpose can only be realized through intimacy with Him. It is in this closeness that He reveals deep and secret things to those who believe in Him and are willing to live fully for Him. Embracing this call is about taking a bold step toward empowerment and becoming part of the vision of The Ark Church—a community committed to helping individuals discover and live out their God-given purpose.

Our Story

We are a church under the authority of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and the youth expression of New Covenant City Church (NCCC) a parish of RCCG located here in Frederick, MD. Our journey began in November 2020, when Pastor Samuel Ola Daniel was sent to launch the New Covenant Youth Church (NCYC). In 2024, NCYC transitioned to become The Ark Church and has been growing steadily ever since.

Our Pastor

Samuel Ola and Dunsin Daniel serve as the dedicated Pastors of The Ark Church. Together, they lead with a heart for God and a passion for empowering people to live purpose-driven lives rooted in God’s love and truth. Their unwavering vision and commitment continue to shape and inspire our church community to grow in faith and fulfill God’s purpose.

They are happily married and blessed with three wonderful boys: Didun, Tolu, and Tife.

Meet Our Leaders

Timilehin & Folusho Soyemi

Timilehin and Folusho Soyemi are a dedicated couple blessed with four wonderful children, affectionately known as The Ires. Together, they are passionate about serving God and are deeply committed to raising a generation of God-fearing leaders. Their faith-driven leadership and devotion to family serve as an inspiration to those around them, reflecting their commitment to God’s purpose.

Moyinoluwa Salami

Moyinoluwa Salami is deeply passionate about serving God in every capacity. She plays an active role in the music ministry and welfare ministry, where her dedication and love for God shine through. Additionally, she is committed to mentoring young women in the youth ministry, guiding them to discover their purpose in Christ and empowering them to live fulfilling, purpose driven lives rooted in faith.

Adesola Njuguna

Adesola Adefowoju-Njuguna is a devoted follower of God, a loving wife, and a mother of two. As a dedicated nurse, she brings her passion for nurturing others into her ministry, focusing on helping young people grow in the likeness of Christ. Her vision is to see young individuals reach their full potential—spiritually, academically, physically, emotionally, and in their marriages—equipping them to lead purpose-driven and Christ-centered lives.
